Gutierrez

Samuel K. Gutierrez is a computer scientist in the HPC Division at LANL. He attended New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. He received his master’s degree and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of New Mexico in 2009 and 2018, respectively. Gutierrez’s research is focused primarily on the design and construction of low-level software systems that allow parallel and distributed programs to run more efficiently on supercomputers.
