Julien Bigot holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and works as permanent CEA Research Scientist at Maison de la Simulation. His main research interest is related to programming models and especially for HPC applications. During his Ph.D. Thesis (2007-2010) he he worked on Component Based Software Engineering assembly compilation for HPC applications. Since joining Maison, he has focused on programming models separating preoccupations between performance optimization and semantic expression, both for algorithms expression and data analytics.
